The king is 4.125 tall with a 1.875 base and the combined 34 pieces weigh an impressive 60 ounces. Two extra queens for pawn promotion and the pieces have green felt pads on the bottom. Our Lightweight Floppy Chess Board combines the flexibility of the thicker mousepad board with the thinness of a vinyl or silicone board. You can roll it up or even fold it and this chess board will lie perfectly flat the second you lay it down. The top surface is covered with a soft fabric material with a no-shine finish unlike vinyl boards. This is a regulation size chess board with 2.25 squares and measures 20overall.
